对书中印象中最深的一句话,还是Darcy对Elizabeth表白时得到她的回复,“why with so evident a desire of offending and insulting me,you chose to tell me that you liked me against your will, against your reason, and even against your character? Was not this some excuse for incivility,if I was uncivil? But I have other provocations.”
Just finished reading the book,it is a good instruction book for girls who are looking for the Mr Right,as well as for the boys. It is a felicitated end of the story as Mrs.Bennet extremely expected. The main character,Eliza who possesses good nature, humor, thoughts, kindness,at length, got the felicity of herself, though there are much destain during the whole process, meanwhile it is obliged to be gratitude for perverseness of Mr Darcy, without which it would be impossible for any gaily end. Most commendations to Mrs.Bennet in the book seems to be a little awkward, the syllabus which used to illustrate her status appeared to be anxious, thoughtless likewise and her most vital will is that her five daughters get married to good men,and it is what she always persisted on. Although at most times, the mother would make the daughters Jane,Eliza as well as their father into embarrassment and to be humbled, the exertion that she made was the extremely essence to the satisfactory end that could not be overlooked by the family. Wish happy endings to all lovers! Mother is mother,no matter what character she possesses, the will to her children is the best in the world.
Everyone has different life, everyone want good live, so to do you want to do, to be you want to be,this is life.
I have really enjoyed reading this book. The book has truly resonated with the core values of Pride and Prejudice; how good breeding and civility caused Darcy to have pride; and to bear prejudice against the landed gentry, such as Elizabeth. How Elizabeth, engrossed by her own superficial opinions of Darcy, were to have prejudice against Darcy, and swore to never to gove her hand to such a man. All in all, Elizabeth's prejudice against Darcy melted Darcy's pride, and Darcy's humility and civility diminuited and finally overthrew Elizabeth's prejudice against him. Finally, two peop le, who seemed impossible, had a marriage that would be quite a shock and surprise in the Victorian era, surpassing all limitations of class and honour. All in all, quite a good book. Recommended read!
happy ending it's a long story. it's a simple story about love. Cinderella and the prince lived a happy life. But not telling the truth of life.
I find it is not easy for me to read it now. Maybe always not easy, I just found out[捂脸]Every time I read it, I watch the movie, I can have a different feeling. I don’t know how to express it in words although my head is filled with many adjectives, adverbs, verbs and scenes in novel. I just know this is a novel worth reading, and you just read it, enjoy it[微笑]
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune,must be in want of a wife.
